Hi… I’m Chef Diane
Who’s a serious foodie and Professionally trained, with 27 years culinary experience spanning 2 continents a couple of countries and several states, along that include a variety of cuisines, cultures, health, religious, and venues. I’ve had the privilege to cook for several public figures, people in the entertainment industry , as well as athletes.
My career and love of the industry comes from great influences that molded me into the Chef I am today. I owe a lot of praise to Chef John Wentzel, who let me run with my ideas, he helped me fine tune many details. To Chef Keith Morrison, he was my Corporate Executive Chef in Higher Education, and we did buttheads, hw was a great teacher. Lastly my Grandmother and my Nanny Helen Torn. Those two brilliant ladies opened doors to good food, passion and caring for others.
In retrospect, I am a Vet, a Mom, a Grandma, a Wife that is an Artist whether it’s with a paintbrush, textiles or food. I am a firm believer in buying local, supporting farmers, preserving heirloom seeds, plants, cooking techniques and sharing that knowledge with others.
